About Us
Sonsie celebrates over twenty-five years on Boston’s famous Newbury Street serving top-notch International cuisine. Open seven days a week, Sonsie boasts beautiful French doors that translate to an open sidewalk cafe in season, as well as a European lounge with deep leather chairs and sofas. The mahogany bar serves the best martinis in town from an experienced lot of friendly bartenders and the brick-oven churns out eclectic pizzas throughout the day. It is easy to relax at Sonsie and enjoy the classic music that reflects the ambience of the restaurant as day progresses into night.

Meet the Chef
Chef Kyle Wallace grew up in Chester, NH, a small town south of Manchester. Chef went to boarding school in Vermont where he found a new appreciation for slow foods and farm to table cooking. He then later returned to Vermont to attend Culinary School at New England Culinary Insitute.
Chef Kyle completed his internship at Harvest in Cambridge. After that he then Moved to Maine and worked at Natalies Relais Chateaux Property for a short period of time before returning to Boston. He bounced around a bit and before finding a new home at Jody Adams' Porto in back where Chef worked his way up to Executive Sous Chef. Chef Kyle was then promoted to Chef De Cuisine and moved to Jody's flagship restaurant TRADE in the Financial District where he worked until the Pandemic hit.
